I’m Kwajo.
I’ve started Our Home Our Futures because my father passed away while living in a damp, mould-ridden flat. His death was not just a personal tragedy—it was a consequence of a system that fails to protect those most in need.
After his death I could no longer stand idly by while others endured the same suffering my family faced. Since then I’ve traveled the country and met with people who are at the sharp end of the housing crisis.
I believe every child deserves the chance to grow up in a safe, warm, and secure home. Every family deserves to live with dignity and stability. No one should live in a house that is dangerous to their health. This is not just a matter of policy, it is a matter of basic human decency.
I campaign because I believe, with every fibre of my being, that we can and must do better. I will not rest until everyone in this country has a place they can truly call home.

The housing crisis affects us all - but it doesn’t have to be this way.
We’re campaigning to end the housing crisis and calling on the Government to:
Give us a direct answer: How many social rent and council homes will Labour build?
Cut the waiting lists: no children should spend their lives waiting to call a place home.
Fund repairs: no one should live in a damp, dangerous home.
